After upgrading the OS, a message is displayed indicating that [Evaluation period of AIP has expired]

Summary

The environment in which AIP has been installed is upgraded from “Windows 8/Server 2012” to “Windows 8.1/Server 2012 R2”.
The [Evaluation period of AIP has expired] and re-activation cannot be  performed.

Resolution

Download and run LicUpdate.exe.

1) Run LicUpdate.exe, and then select update. 
*If the update isn't necessary the process will exit without making any changes.

2) Re-activation after the update.
