Summary
If the AIP Service is registered with an account other than the local system, the Mount Image function won't work.
For instance, if you specify the X: drive for Mount Image, you'll see a message saying: "Path X: does not exist or is not a directory. [OK]." This drive is then considered busy. While unmounting is possible, because the specified drive isn't visible in Windows Explorer, you won't be able to restore the mounted image.
Register AIP Service under local system account and restart AIP Service.
