Tips for redundant storage in the HBA (Host Bus Adapter)

Summary

When connected to storage via HBA multipath, each redundant disk is recognized individually in the Boot Environment.

Cause

The boot environment doesn't include a multi-path driver, resulting in individual recognition of redundant disks.

Workaround

When performing a backup and restore from the Boot environment, like temporarily disconnecting one HBA cable, it must be in Single Path mode.
