Backup method of the database which isn't supported by VSS

Resolutions

There are two Methods.

1) Stop the service of the database that performs the backup

Prepare a batch file to stop the service and start the service.

e.g.
service_stop.bat

net stop <service name>
– –

service_start.bat

net start <service name>
– –

Schedule —  Advanced Options — Script to execute before the snapshot is taken:service_stop.bat

Schedule —  Advanced Options — Script to execute after the snapshot is takenservice_start.bat

2) Take a cold backup

Please start from WinPE based or Linux based start environment and take a cold backup.
