The image file's disk number in the restore destination setting

Summary

The disk numbers in the image file are set in ascending order during creation. When restoring to the same environment, the disk numbers may differ, but the restoration occurs correctly to the intended location.

An illustration of the backup target configuration:

Disk0: drive that contains the system
Disc1: data drive
Disc2: data drive

Create a backup image of disk 1 and disk 2. Restore to disk 1 and disk 2 (the same disks as the backup target).

Restore from: Disk0 (Disk1 in the image), Restore destination: Disk1 (Disk1 in disk management).
Restore from: Disk1 (Disk2 in the image), Restore destination: Disk2 (Disk2 in disk management).
