After a restore, you might see Event ID 136 NTFS warnings in the logs

Symptoms

The following message may appear every time during system startup after the restore.

 Windows Eventlog(system):

 Source: Ntfs
 Event ID: 136
 Level: Warning
 Description: The default transaction resource manager on drive C: had an error during startup and its settings were reset. The error code is included in the data.

Resolution

Run the following command in Command Prompt as an administrator, then restart the system.

 fsutil resource setautoreset true c:

When another volume is mentioned in the event log, include the volume name as the last argument of the fsutil command.
