If the Target location is a USB HDD, Exit code: -553 may occur

Symptom

If writing to the target location cannot be performed during backup Exit Code: -553 is output.

Causes

If the save destination is a USB HDD, there are two possible causes.

1) There is something wrong with the USB HDD.

2) If this error occurs during Shutdown backup or logoff, it may be blocked by the device control software.
Check the device control software.

Workarounds

1) Unplug the USB HDD from the PC, turn off the USB HDD, turn it on, and restart the USB HDD.

2) Disable USB control on the device control software.
