Mouse cursor does not work properly when using the ESXi 6.x vSphere Web Client

Summary

When using the vSphere Web Client with ESXi 6.x , the following may occur.

– The mouse cursor does not appear when WinPE is started.
– Clicking Add image of vStandby AIP and clicking the address bar on the file selection dialog does not display the cursor.

Workaround

Add a USB controller to the virtual machine.
