Activation may encounter difficulties when both AAS and AIP2018 are installed on the same machine

Summery

In an offline environment without internet connection, deploying Actiphy Authentication Service (AAS) is necessary for activating ActiveImage Protector 2018 (AIP2018). If there's no other machine for AAS deployment, you can install both AIP2018 and AAS on the same machine to request product activation.

However, immediate manual activation of AIP2018 may not be possible right after installation when AAS is on the same machine. You can perform manual activation a few minutes after starting the AAS service. Note that immediate manual activation is not required as product activation will automatically take place.
