BSOD happens when AIP2018 Update 6 is installed

Sometimes, a BSOD with a specific STOP error code may happen when AIP2018 Update 6 is installed.

The problem arises from a failure in the tracking driver (aiptrack.sys, abytrack.sys) of ActiveImage Protector. This issue occurs when ActiveImage Protector is installed, but no backup task is running. 

Workaround

Upgrade to AIP2018 Update 7. The new incremental backup process in Update 7 utilizes the CBC (Changed Block Comparison) method instead of sector tracking. This change prevents BSOD from occurring due to the specifications of the updated backup method.
