Summary
In some cases, BSOD with the following STOP error code may occur in the environment where AIP2018 Update 6 is installed.
0x0000000a
0x0000007e
This issue is caused due to the failure of the tracking driver (aiptrack.sys, abytrack.sys) built in ActiveImage Protector.
This failure was identified in the environment where ActiveImage Protector is installed while no ActiveImage Protector backup task is running.
Workaround
Please upgrade to AIP2018 Update 7.
The incremental backup process now (from Update7) uses the CBC (Changed Block Comparison) method instead of the sector tracking method. Because of the specifications of the new backup method, BSOD does not occur any longer.
