When USB connected RDX is specified for the destination and restarting Windows, a backup task may fail.

Summary

When USB connected storage device is selected for the destination when configuring backup schedule settings in ActiveImage Protector, UUID information is obtained and recorded.
The device is identified with the UUID. When restarting Windows, the UUID is replaced with a different number and the backup task may fail.

Workaround

GUI — Preference — Check in the following checkbox in General setting.
