Summary
You are not allowed to restore a disk or a volume including the system volume while OS is up and running.
* System volume refers to “C:” drive in Windows system and a volume including [ / ] in Linux system.
You can restore a drive (volume) including only data or a file/folder while OS is running.
Please boot up ActiveImage Protector Boot Environment to restore a system volume.
Please take the following operating procedures to restore a system volume.
Operating Procedures
[Windows]
1) Shut down OS.
2) Boot up (CentOS-based) boot environment from the product’s ISO image file –[ISO] , or (WinPE-based) boot environment built on your own.
3) Restore the system volume.
