Change VSS backup type

Summary

The default VSS backup type of AIP 2018 is full backup. Briefly speaking, when running full backup, Exchange and SQLServer transaction log is truncated. Therefore, for example, when running incremental backup by executing agent task for SQLServer, the transaction log is truncated. As a result, restore from an incremental backup file fails.

Workaround

Open “aip.ini” file by using text editor and add “vss_backup_type=5” in the following section.
