Backing up virtual machines in a vSphere HA environment without using an agent

Summary

Using HyperAgent allows backing up virtual machines in a vSphere HA environment. When setting up HyperBackup for the hypervisor, register the vCenter Server. After configuring, if virtual machines fail over, the backup task runs seamlessly without needing additional settings. Note that the first backup after failover creates a full backup file.
