How to check firmware in Windows

Summary

When creating a WindowsPE-based boot environment on a USB hard disk, choose the boot type (EFI or BIOS). Follow these steps to check the firmware: 

Operating Procedures
1) Log in by using the Administrator account and launch the command prompt.
2) Run bcdedit.
3) Verify the boot type by examining the binary name in the path under the Windows boot loader. 
　EFI：winload.efi or bootmgfw.efi
　BIOS：bootmgr or winload.exe
