The AIP service's auto start-up setting has been switched to manual start-up

Summary

After applying AIP2018 Update7 patch version 21.04.06.01, the AIP service's start-up setting is changed from "auto" to "manual." As a result, the AIP service no longer starts during Windows boot-up, causing the scheduled backup task not to initiate.

Workaround

Apply this patch to the environment with agent version "5.1.11.6665" and patch version "5.1.11.6665" installed.

When applying the GUI fix patch released by Actiphy Inc. on 21.06.18.07, the patch application fails, triggering an alert. 

Operating Procedures:
1) Delete or rename the "patch.ini" file in the ActiveImage Protector's installation path.
2) Apply the patch mentioned in the article, and the application will create a "patch.ini" file.
3) After backing up "patch.ini" in step 1, delete the newly created "patch.ini" and rename "patch.ini.bak" to "patch.ini".
