Windows Update history is not included in backup

Summary

The specification for VSS snapshot is designed, by default, to exclude Windows update history from VSS snapshot.
Therefore, ActiveImage Protector’s Full Backup does not include the update history in the created backup file.

Workaround

Please delete the following values by using Registry Editor.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlBackupRestoreFilesNotToSnapshotWUA

* Please delete the registry setting of the file excluded by VSS, so that Windows Update history will be included in backup. However, you have to change the setting at your own risk.
