During Hyper-V host backup, the virtual machine status doesn't show as [Backing up]

Summary

When backing up a Hyper-V host to ensure the integrity of the online virtual guest, set the VSS setting to Component Mode. In Component Mode, the virtual machine status shows as [Backing up...] when VSS is running. During this status, changes in I/O are stored in avhdx and merged to VHD or VHDX after the task finishes. In non-component mode, this operation doesn't occur, compromising the virtual machine's integrity.

The earlier versions do not provide the Operation Mode option. By default, Component Mode is selected.
