Summary

The AIP2022 installation fails in an environment with ActiveVisor 6.0.2.1507, ImageCenter 4.1.0.1405, HyperBoot 4.1.0.558. An error dialog is shown.

Click [OK] to cancel and pause the installation. Retry the installation to finish the process. Note that certain features of the product may be disabled.

Causes

AIP2022 installation in a setup with ActiveVisor, ImageCenter, HyperBoot requires an OS restart for the filter driver update. The installer doesn't initiate the restart, causing the updated driver not to be enabled. As a result, AIP2022 installation fails and is suspended.

Workaround

1) Click [OK] on the error dialog to initiate a rollback of the installation process. 
2) Restart OS.
3) Install AIP2022 again.
