Summary
In older versions of Linux Edition, if the Retention Policy fails to automatically delete outdated backup image sets, up to the three most recent sets will be removed manually. This means that if three or more sets are saved and an issue arises, the obsolete backup image file might persist. ActiveImage Protector 2018 Linux Update5 (5.1.9.5983) and later versions are improved to delete backup image files based on the predefined Retention Policy option. However, be aware that there might still be cases where obsolete backup image files are not deleted.
