Activation fails because the hypervisor is not detected

Summary

Activation of ActiveImage Protector, installed with a virtual guest key, may fail when certain conditions are met. 

Conditions
1) Windows OS is installed on a virtual machine using OEM media.
2) Two or more network interface cards (NICs) are installed, and the first NIC is turned off. 

Causes

When installing AIP on a guest machine using OEM media, the MAC address information of the guest machine's NIC is consulted. However, if there are multiple NICs and the first one is disabled, only the MAC address information of the first NIC is considered.

Workaround

Please enable the first NIC.
