How to copy backup images to a replication target

Summary

To enhance disaster recovery and protect backups from ransomware, ActiveImage Protector includes a Replication feature. This allows replication of backup files to secondary storage like NAS or cloud storage at a remote site. After saving backups in the primary destination (NAS, USB media, etc.), follow the provided operating procedures to replicate backup image files.

1) Use ImageCenter
Install ImageCenter on a Windows OS separate from the backup source machine. This allows scheduled tasks to replicate backup image files to a remote target. ImageCenter uses the system resources on the remote machine, reducing the load on the backup source machine. 

2) Use Post-backup Process
Turn on Post-backup Process and replicate backup image files to a remote target based on a set schedule. The Replication feature of the Post-backup Process executes tasks using the resources on the backup source machine.
