How to replicate backup images to a replication target

Summary

In order to provide disaster recovery solution and isolate backups from ransomware attacks, ActiveImage Protector offers Replication feature enabling to replicate the backup files to a secondary storage such as NAS, cloud storage, etc., at a remote site after saving the backups in the primary destination NAS, USB media, etc.
The following are the operating procedures how to replicate backup image files.

1) Use ImageCenter
Install ImageCenter on Windows OS different from the backup source machine, so that the scheduled tasks run to replicate the backup image files to a remote target.
ImageCenter, enabling to replicate the backup image files by using the system resources on the remote machine on which ImageCenter is installed, contributes to reduce the load on the backup source machine.

2) Use Post-backup Process
Enable Post-backup Process and replicate the backup image files to a remote target according to a predefined schedule.
Replication feature of Post-backup Process runs the tasks by using the resources on backup source machine.
