Migrating the agent-based backup source machine of HyperAgent by using HyperAgent key

Online Backup

The first environment where HyperAgent is activated by using HyperAgent key is licensed for agent-based backup.
Creating an agent-based backup task in the environment where HyperAgent is subsequently installed with the same key fails in error and the following message is displayed.

Due to the product's specifications, you cannot cancel the activation.

Offline Operation

The priority of the agent-based backup source machine of HyperAgent is the same as the above described online operation. The first environment where HyperAgent is activated by using HyperAgent key is licensed for agent-based backup.
Since activation of the product is managed by AAS, reinstallation of AAS without keeping the configured settings clears the activation information including agent-based backup source information. As a result, migration of the license is allowed.
After installing AAS, please apply the same bundle file again and activate the product in the migration target environment.
As far as you apply the same license file again, it does not interfere the activation of the product in a different environment.
