ActiveImage Protector's GUI crashes

Summary

ActiveImage GUI fails to start and terminates abnormally. The application's event log records the following log entries.

Causes

While executing an ActiveImage console task, if the aip.log contains invalid syntax in the data, it leads to issues in displaying the task log information in the Dashboard.

Workaround

Please use one of the following operating procedures.

1) Delete aip.log.

Stop AipService, delete "aip.log" in AIP install path and start AipService.

2) Upgrade to AIP2018 Update2 (5.1.5.5691) or later.
