Summary
When booting Linux BE (Debian11-based) on Windows machine, the time is set to UTC time + (local time).
Causes
The issue of time gap occurred with b7616 or later was caused because systemd-timesyncd included in Debian11.2 or earlier was removed from the core package.
Time synchronization failed and the time gap was caused.
*This issue is fixed with Linux BE included in ActiveImage Protector 2022 Update 2.
Workaround
This issue is fixed with Linux BE included in b7616.
Boot Linux BE and install the following package from the terminal. Then, time synchronization is enabled.
*The time is correctly adjusted only in the environment having persistent Internet connection. Without internet connection, UTC time is provided.
# apt install -y systemd-timesyncd
