With some versions of ActiveImage Protector, environments created with BE Builder might not boot properly .

Details

Boot environments may not properly boot under the following circumstances:

1)  In boot environments created with Actiphy Boot Environment Builder (BE Builder) Version 1.0.3.342 or earlier, when booting a WinPE-based environment, booting might fail with the following message.

---This application does not run on your PC.---

2)  In the environments with the latest versions of ActiveImage Protector 2022 (Version 7.0.0.8643 or later), when a boot environment is created using earlier versions of Actiphy Boot Environment Builder (Version 1.0.3.342 or earlier) you may get the following message and BE Builder does not run.

---AIProtector.exe - system error ---
☓　XXX　cannot be found and unable to proceed with execution of the code. Please reinstall the program and this issue may be fixed. [OK]

*　XXX will be replaced with “Qt5WebEngineWidgets.dll” or “MSVCP140_1.dll”, etc.

Causes

BE Builder is provided as an add-on tool that comes with AIP2022.
When ActiveImage Protector is installed, BE Builder is designed to integrate the binaries in the AIP install path. When an earlier version of ActiveImage Protector is installed, or the latest binaries are integrated into WinPE-based boot environments, BE Builder does not run.

Workaround

1) Install BE Builder in an environment where ActiveImage Protector is not installed.
2) Install the latest version of BE Builder (1.0.4.636 or later), this can be in an environment where ActiveImage Protector is installed.
