Volume recovery fails on backups containing Windows extended logical volumes, if the backup was created using the Linux-based boot environment(AIPBE).

Details

In a Linux-based boot environment (AIPBE), when backing up a disk with extended logical volumes and then performing Volume Recovery using the backup, the process succeeds. However, the restored volume is not accurately referenced.

Causes

This is a limitation.

Workaround

Please attempt Disk Restore in either AIPBE or WinRE/WinPE boot environment.
