Details
In the boot environment on Windows Server 2008 R2, selecting [Virtual Conversion] > [Convert from Disk] and choosing "for Microsoft Hyper-V" under [Convert Type] results in a successful virtual conversion task. However, the contents of the created HVD file are corrupted, rendering it unusable.
Causes
This issue is currently under investigation.
Workaround
Please use the following operating procedures for virtualization:
1) Create a cold backup image file in boot environment.
2) Use [Virtual Conversion] or [HyperRecovery] in the ActiveImage Protector environment to perform a virtual conversion from the backup image.
