When booting, the message "Retrieving data from USB media failed" appears, and the USB is unavailable

When creating Deploy USB media with Deploy Media Creator v5.0.0.339 (March 29, 2024), the screen turns gray near the end of the process, and the USB may not be created properly. Data is written, but when booting, a red-screen error says, "Retrieving data from USB media failed," making the USB unusable.

Causes

This is a known issue.

Workaround

This issue was fixed in Version 5.1.0.636. Please use this or a later version.
