If the folder path ends with a double-byte space, "path not found" appears, and its files/folders become inaccessible

Details

If a folder path ends with a double-byte space, "path not found" appears, and its contents are inaccessible.

Example: Folder "1"

1. File Recovery

• Recover from a backup image containing folder "1" and select it.
• Error: "The path not found" appears.
• Check the box for "1" in the right panel to restore the entire folder, but individual files/folders cannot be restored.

2. File Backup

• Select folder "1" for backup.
• Error: "The path not found" appears.
• Check the box for "1" in the right panel to proceed with [File Backup] or [File Recovery].

 

Causes

This is a known issue.

Workaround

Use one of these methods for File Recovery:

- Mount Image (not recommended)

- Image Explorer

- Image Target Server
