The Media Creator console sometimes becomes grayed out and unusable

The Deploy Media Creator console sometimes grays out and becomes unusable.

Conditions

Enter the Proxy Server in the Proxy Settings.

• Correct Example (IP address): 192.168.1.100
• Problematic Example (non-IP string with a period): http://proxy.xxx.xx

If you save these settings and relaunch the console, it grays out.
Registering a license in [License Manager] window while configuring settings also causes this issue.

Forcibly closing and reopening the console results in it becoming grayed out and unusable.

This is a known issue.

Workaround

Download and double-click to install the patch. No restart or extra steps needed.
