If backup files come from different source disks, some files at a recovery point may be inaccessible

When backup files from different source disks are stored together, some files may be inaccessible in the ActiveImage Protector console.

Conditions
Click [Edit Schedule] if backup images in the same folder meet either condition:
- Different backup source disk configurations (e.g., disk0 vs. disk0,disk1). 
- Different backup source disks (e.g., disk0 vs. disk1). 

Affected Features
This issue affects all features that reference image files in the ActiveImage console, including:

• Volume Recovery

• File Recovery

• Image Manager

• Mount Backup

• Image Target Server

Causes

This is a known issue.

Workaround

1) Double-click a backup image in Image Explorer to browse and restore files.

2) To organize images, separate them into folders by disk number using the steps below.

For example, if the following backup image is created at the destination: [example follows].

In this case, only the oldest image file is accessible. 

Move the oldest base image file. If incremental files (.aii) exist, move all linked incremental files as well.

After moving the files, you can browse all backup data in the AIP console by selecting the new folder.

Move incremental (.aii) files to the same folder. For best results, move older backup files first, as newer ones may be affected by scheduled backups.

This issue will be fixed in a future update.
