Error 144 (0x00000090) occurs during a file restore from a backup image created with AIP2018 Update (5.1.4.5634)

Summary

A backup image created using AIP2018 Update (5.1.4.5634) has been assigned the read attribute to prevent ransomware attacks.
Because of this, a file restore may fail.

robocopy log:
2019/07/10 12:01:01 Error 144 (0x00000090) The type of file system to copy from is being acquired 0:test
The directory is not a subdirectory of the root directory.

Cause

This is a known issue.

Workaround

Please uncheck the read attribute from the image file property from Windows Explorer.
