ActiveImage Protector's support for Linux character code

Details

When the character code of a Red Hat Enterprise Linux server is changed to something other than UTF-8, the following issues occur:

1. Product activation fails to complete normally.
2. E-mail notifications do not function correctly.

Causes

Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS supports only UTF-8, and as a result, some features do not work with other character codes.

Solutions

Please use UTF-8 as the system's character code, as it is supported by the OS.

Additionally, for other OS's supported by AIP, the default character code is also UTF-8.
