Running the command automatically performs the following operations:
1) Right-click the notification area and select [Run RescueBoot].
2) If the system meets the requirements (WinRE or ADK is available), a message will appear confirming that RescueBoot setup is starting.
This process automatically prepares and launches the RescueBoot environment.
3) When preparation is complete, a message appears informing you that Windows will restart in one minute. Closing the message does not cancel the restart.
4) Windows restarts and displays the ActiveImage Protector (AIP) boot environment, where you can perform operations.
RescueBoot is not activated unless you perform the steps above. Because the feature automatically restarts Windows, follow the procedure below to disable RescueBoot when necessary.
Operating Procedure to Disable RescueBoot
1) Rename "DiskMaker.dll" to "DiskMaker.dllorig", etc., in AIP install path.A
Default Path C:\Program Files\Actiphy\ActiveImage Protector\DiscMaker.dll
2) Open Windows Services, right-click ActiveImage Protector Service, and select Restart.
After restarting the service, selecting [Run RescueBoot] or [Run QuickRecovery] displays the following message, and the feature does not run.
Since QuickRecovery depends on RescueBoot, it will also be disabled.
