Notes for restoring to a different virtual hardware version

Details

1. Create a backup image of a virtual machine version 8 or later (ESX 5.0 or later).

2. Restore the image to an ESX 4.1 host.

Result: The error "[1038] VgCollector return error" appears immediately when the restore process starts.
