Summary
When choosing the destination folder in the [Select Destination] dialog, you cannot access a shared folder on Windows 2003 or an older Samba shared folder.
Causes
This problem arises because SMB1.0 is turned off in the Samba installation on the operating system.
SMB1.0 is disabled on samba4.11 or later.
https://www.samba.org/samba/history/samba-4.11.0.html
Samba4.11 or later is installed on the following OS:
- RHEL8.x
- CentOS8.x
- SLES15.x
- OpenSuse15.x
- Other clone OS of RHEL8.x
Workaround
Enabling SMB1.0 in Samba settings on the operating system lets you access SMB1.0 shared folders. However, it's important to note that this setting poses potential security risks, and the customer assumes full responsibility for these risks.
1) Add [client min protocol] in [global] section in "/etc/samba/smb.conf" and specify a value for [nt1].
[global]
…
client min protocol = nt1
2) Restart AIP service.
# systemctl stop aipservice
# systemctl start aipservice
