Symptoms
You might see these errors during ActiveImage Protector installation or each time you log in:
- "ActiveImage USB detector stopped working."
- "The program can't start because MSVCP120.dll is missing from the computer."
Cause
The Microsoft Visual C ++ runtime library might not be installed, depending on the operating system environment.
Workaround
Go to "Programs and Features" in the Control Panel and see if the following runtime is installed.
– Microsoft Visual C ++ 2013 Redistributable (x86) – 12.0.21005
If the operating system lacks this runtime, run "vcredist_x86.exe" from the ActiveImage Protector installation folder to install it.
