Cannot activate product from the GUI

Symptom

Unable to activate the product from the GUI, the evaluation will expire. The following message will be logged in the aip.log.

– {IDS_STRING4042} The evaluation term is end.

Cause

This is a known bug or defect. 

Resolution

Activate by a command line.

Ver 4.0：
#cd /opt/Actiphy
#./aipmng –cmd activate [Activation Key]

Ver 4.1/4.5:
#cd /opt/Actiphy
#./aipmng –cmd activate [User Name] [Serial] [Activation Key]
