Create a backup when altering the Configure Shadow Copies setting

Summary

Changing the storage area in [Configure Shadow Copies] and running an AIP backup task reverts the changes because the settings are set to create a snapshot in the original backup source volume.

Workaround

Follow these steps to ensure that modifying the storage area settings won't be undone when running an AIP backup task:

1) Open aip.ini located in the install path by using a text editor.
2) Add “vss_autoset_shadowstorage=0” in [aipcopy] section and save aip.ini.

Ex：
[aipcopy]
vss_autoset_shadowstorage=0

3) Change the settings for Windows shadow copy.
4) Run the backup task and make sure that the changed settings for Windows shadow copy are maintained.
