Causes
If the boot environment doesn't recognize the serial number assigned to a USB memory, the USB created with DeployUSB becomes unidentifiable and unusable.
Workaround
Go to the specified site, download, and extract the tool to check the USB memory's assigned serial number.
https://s3-ap-northeast-1.amazonaws.com/kb.s3.actiphy.com/new_kb_attachments/usbdevicecheck.zip
Launch the command prompt with administrative rights.
Windows 10 32 bit:
usbdevicecheck/x86/GetUsbInfo.exe < drive letter >
Windows 10 64 bit:
usbdevicecheck/x64/GetUsbInfo.exe < drive letter >
Enter the drive letter assigned to the USB memory created with DeployUSB. Check "sample.png" in the attached folder for a command example.
If the "Serial:" item in brackets [] is blank, it means no serial number is assigned to the USB memory. If the serial number is not shown, try changing the USB port or connecting via a USB hub. If the serial number still doesn't appear, consider using a different USB memory.
