Microsoft’s New Plan to Encourage TLS 1.2
Cease support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 connections for the standard smtp endpoint (smtp.office365.com) that receives inbound emails for Exchange Online. This change is anticipated to occur in 2022. However, tenants with valid business reasons can still use outdated TLS by configuring their tenant to accept these connections, acknowledging the associated risks.
If you encounter an ActiveImage Protector Mail Notification error, check the error log at the path "\Logs\Notification\XXXXXXXX.xml" within the ActiveImage Protector installation directory. If the message indicates a need for TLS 1.2 support, upgrade ActiveImage Protector to a version that supports TLS 1.2.
