Summary
Linux-based boot environment fails to boot when Secure Boot is enabled.
1) If encountering issues with booting the Linux-based boot environment on a virtual machine, ensure that the following settings are disabled on the hypervisor.
Windows Hyper-V
VM Setting — Security — Secure Boot
ESXi
VM Setting — Option settings for Virtual Machine — Boot Option — Enable UEFI secure boot
2) If encountering issues with booting the Linux-based boot environment on a physical machine, disable Secure Boot in the BIOS or UEFI settings and attempt the boot again.
