Summary
ActiveImage Protector 2022 supports LTO 6 or later, but LTFS is not supported. When using LTFS-formatted tape, it is converted to ActiveImage Protector proprietary format. Exercise caution when handling such tapes.
Cleaning Tape
A cleaning tape is labeled as "unrecognizable media," and such tapes cannot be transferred to another pool. The barcode label of a cleaning tape starts with "cln," identifying it as a cleaning tape.
WORM Tape
Once a Write-Once, Read-Many (WORM) tape has been written on, it cannot be moved to the "empty media" category.
