Summary
When booting Linux BE (Debian11-based) on a Windows machine, the time is set to UTC+ (local time).
Causes
This issue occurs with build 7616 or later, systemd-timesyncd included in Debian11.2 or earlier was removed from the core package causing a synchronization failure.
*This issue is fixed with Linux BE included in ActiveImage Protector 2022 Update 2.
Workaround
This issue is fixed in Linux BE included in build 7616.
For a workaround, Boot Linux BE and install the following package from the terminal. The time synchronization will be enabled.
*The time is correctly adjusted only in environments having a persistent Internet connection. Without an internet connection, UTC time is set.
# apt install -y systemd-timesyncd
