Exit Code -601 occurs at backup when using ActiveImage Protector 2022 test

Details

After uninstallation of ActiveImage Protector 2022, when reinstalling ActiveImage Protector 2022 without rebooting the Windows system, since no registry exists to load the tracking driver (aiptrack.sys), a -601 error occurs at backup in [Changed Block Tracking Mode].

Resolution

 Follow the steps below.

1) Uninstall ActiveImage Protector 2022.
 Enable the [Retaini configuration and log files] option.

2) Install ActiveImage Protector 2022.

When uninstalling ActiveImage Protector 2022 with the retain configuration files option, the backup schedule settings will be preserved. However, after reinstalling  ActiveImage Protector 2022, when the incremental task is scheduled as the first task, a reconcile task runs.

This issue will be fixed in a future version.
