Details
Before using ActiveImage Protector, activate the product periodically by connecting to the Actiphy Activation Server. If you're in an offline network, activate the product by obtaining an Offline License Bundle file (Virtual Edition does not support this) or by using AAS's activation process.
If you can't activate the product, you're allowed a 30-day grace period to use either the agent-based or agentless backup tool (except with offline file activation). Each day during this period subtracts from the remaining days. When the grace period reaches zero, even with a perpetual license, the product enters restricted mode and stops operating. Successfully activating the product manually or according to the "Activation Timing" grants another 30-day grace period.
You can check the license status in the AIP console under "License Status," but some details might be hidden. Follow the provided operating procedures to use the AIP command and AAS GUI effectively.
