Online activation does not allow deactivation. If licenses exceed the purchased limit, you can deactivate a host and activate a new PC.
- For Virtual Edition, see "Regarding Virtual Edition" below.
- If disposing of a PC, uninstalling ActiveImage Protector is recommended but not required.

Go to [Help] > [Activation] in the console to activate. If licenses exceed the limit, follow Help instructions to deactivate.

If ActiveImage Protector was activated offline (AAS) but isn’t working, contact support. To deactivate an AAS license, see Activation Guide > [Deactivation of License/Bundle File] and follow the steps.

Go to [Help] > [License] in the console, then click [Online Authentication] or [AAS Authentication] and [Activation]. If licenses exceed the limit, follow Help to deactivate extra licenses.
